Berkeley Marina
The Berkeley Project is a series of community service projects performed by students throughout the city. The city would like to do these projects, but they simply lack the funds and manpower. Students and donors come together to make these ends meet.
In the fall semester of 2008, SSA students decided to participate on the Berkeley Marina site. Over 100 students came to work on the Berkeley Marina site, and it was a great bonding experience for SSA members to not only get to know themselves, but other organizations as well. At the end of the day, it was both rewarding for the community and for the participants. |
