Dear Prospective Member:

The Finance Committee of SSA’s is basically the financial backing to all of SSA. Most of what the committee does is to maintain a budget and ensure the monetary future of SSA. Tasks include depositing money, withdrawing money, and in general working with the bank. Working with the ASUC is also very important as having a good relationship with them means securing more funds for SSA through numerous avenues like student group funding or
grants. The Finance Committee also takes care of reimbursements for members who spent money out of their pockets. On Finance Committee you
will learn basic budgeting skills, communication skills as a liaison, and general financial skills needed to run any business or student group oncampus.
